I’ve made it back home safely, am slowly unpacking, and trying to get myself organised again. I’m aware that a quarter of the year has passed already (eeek!) but nonetheless I thought it might be helpful to put together a list of the major knitterly events coming up, as I did last year. As I live in London there’s obviously a south-eastern bias, but please let me know of any major omissions.
Get your diaries out folks…
9-10 April Wonderwool Wales Royal Welsh Showground, Builth Wells, Powys, Wales
24-25 June Woolfest Mitchells Lakeland Livestock Centre, near Cockermouth, Cumbria
15-17 July Knit Nation Imperial College, London
23-24 July Fibre-East Scald End Farm, Mill Rd, Thurleigh, Bedford
20-21 August FibreFest Bicton College, East Budleigh, Budleigh Salterton, Devon
3-4 Sept British Wool Weekend Harrogate
6-9 October Knitting and Stitching Show Ally Pally, London
28-29 Oct Fibre Flurry Birmingham
10-13 Nov Knitting and Stitching Show RDS, Dublin
24-27 Nov Knitting and Stitching Show Harrogate
So tell me, what events are you looking forward to this year?
Nice to have you back and thanks for this – I’ve been gagging for a comprehensive list of UK fibre events. I find out about most of them after the fact.
Are you not taking part in blog week? 😦

I was really looking forward to this year edition of Knit Nation as i missed it last year but we’re planning to move to Scotland in May so I don’t really think I will be able to attend
I just found your blog- it’s fantastic!

Is it time for Wonderwool already?! I remember trying to figure out if I could possibly swing it last year…which seemed like it was just a couple of months ago. I can’t believe it’s already basically the middle of 2011 already.
